Clinical indications of White-C

It can stimulate bone marrow to produce granulocytes and neutrophils. It is mainly used in the treatment of neutropenia and granulocytopenia induced by

(5)  Bone marrow transplant

Recombinant human granulocyte colony- stimulating factor.

This product is colorless sterile solution

[ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION]

This product should be administered through subcutaneous and intravenous way.

[INDICATIONS]

Patients with severe granulocytopenia resulting from chemotherapy

Patients receiving myosuppressed drugs, especially some severe and bone marrow depriving chemicals , if put in use WHITE-C can prevent and lighten the degree of granulocytopenia and shorten duration of granulocytopenia as well as hasten the regain of the granulocytes , consequently reduce the risk of combined infection.

[Dosage and administration]

Subcutaneously or intravenously administer the drug once a day 24~48hs after the chemotherapy administration and dosage of should take chemotherapy and degree of granulocytopenia into account.

For patients with intensive chemotherapy or with obvious granulocytopenia symptoms should administer WHITE-C for 7 consecutive days at the dose of 25ug/kg until recovering to 5000/mm3

If chemical drugs used are small , patients may be administered WHITE-C at the dose of 1.25ug/kg until the steady regain in safe range

If the quantity of granulocyte declined obviously after chemotherapy (say <1000/mm3), patients should receive the drug at the dose of 5ug/kg till granulocytes increase more than 5000/mm3 , if it is stable, stopping the drug should be taken into account.

[ADVERSE REACTIONS]

The main adverse reactions are bone pain and muscle pain as well as fatigue during the treatment, few may occur rash, fever, chill, snot or some symptoms like catching cold.

All above described symptoms are mild and easily endurable, if no special treatment is applied, most of them may disappear.

[OVERDOSE]

If the patients are administered with overdose (e.g. 7.5ug/kg), bone pain and muscle pain in different extents may appear. Local reaction may occur as well for some patients.
